What happens during the free 20-minute call?
The call is an opportunity to explain your situation, identify important dates, and discuss whether the firm can assist. A detailed review or legal work may require a formal engagement.
Do I need all of my documents before contacting you?
No. Start with what you have and explain any approaching deadline. The team can tell you which documents would be useful next.
Who will work on my matter?
A partner is responsible for the legal work. Our operations team helps coordinate communication and file administration.
How are fees confirmed?
The proposed work and fees are discussed before representation begins and recorded in an engagement letter.
Does contacting the firm mean I have retained a lawyer?
No. An enquiry or initial conversation does not create a solicitor-client relationship. The firm must first accept the engagement and confirm its terms.
Where is the office?
The office is at 5200 Yonge Street in North York, Toronto. Contact the team before attending to arrange an appointment.
